We spend our lives mostly doing all sorts of things that we study for, practice and fully understand. The funny thing is that we’ve never put in the time to truly comprehend the one thing we all do the most: SLEEPING!
We spend so much time sleeping in our beds, sleeping in class and sleeping with our neighbor’s wife that it’s only fair that we also spend a proportionate amount of time understanding what happens when we sleep. Why do we sleep? What goes on while we sleep? Who did you sleep with last night and why in the world do we need to spend time sleeping?
