Seminar intended for  parents and teens [for FREE] whose objective is to protect kids online. With the advent of internet, online games, Facebook and other social networking sites, kids are also exposed to some dangers even though they are in the confines of their homes.

There are 2 confirmed schedules and another one is being sked for September or October:

• July 10, 2010 at Microsoft Auditorium, Ayala Makati 3:00 PM
• Aug 14, 2010 at VCF Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan 3:00 PM

The speakers will be as follows:

1. What kids are doing online — Sonnie E. Santos, former AVP for Human Resources of Cats Motors and presently head of Business Values 2.0
2. What parent’s need to know about online gaming– Carlo Ople, former Marketing Director of Friendster Philippines and presently head of Catalyst Interactive Marketing
3. The dangers on internet and how parents can protect their kids– Chay Mondejar-Saputil, former Product Manager of Microsoft and presently the Principal Consultant of Chimes Consulting

Also, they are still looking for sponsors and donors to cover for the expenses on tokens for the speakers, refreshment, and freebies for the volunteers [about 10-15], email if interested.
