MyHome Magazine Celebrates 10 Years of Beautiful Filipino Homes

Just wanted to say congratulations to MyHome Magazine for celebrating their 10th year anniversary. To commemorate this very awesome milestone, MyHome invited their friend to have a little intimate gathering where they also gave away some cool prizes including vacation packages, gift certificates, household items, furniture and more!

They played one game where you had to put a little post-it type tag on the furniture in a room they had set up. If you tagged a piece of furniture that was one of the giveaways, then your name was entered into a bowl with all the other names that tagged that furniture with a chance to win it. Some furniture pieces included a fridge, washer and dryer and a flat screen TV, amongst others.

myHome magazine celebrates 10 years of creating beautiful homes for every Filipino

MyHome magazine celebrated its 10th year anniversary with the October 2010 issue that featured the best of the best in creating a beautiful home for every Filipino.

For the anniversary issue, my Home featured six dwellings: one in a boutique townhouse community, a residential option that draws inspiration from the beauty and majesty of song, a family home that combines timeless simplicity with signature elements, a southern sanctuary that started with memorable conversations that resulted in a contemporary masterpiece, a tropical treasure in the heart of the city and a charming whimsical home in the province.

To celebrate a decade of style, myHome magazine held an anniversary party at the top floor of Discovery Suites especially for their readers. Guests, media personalities, and advertisers walked through the pages of the magazine as the top floor of Discovery Suites was designed with home inspirations taken from different issues of the magazine.

And the celebration didn’t end there as myHome gave plaques of appreciation to their Top 10 advertisers and contributors. Without the endless support of Belle Corporation, CYA Industries Incorporated, Ace Hardware, Boysen, Focus Global Inc., Ajinomoto, Landco, SM Development Corporation, Calligaris and Panasonic, myHome wouldn’t be as successful as it is today.

But it’s not only the advertisers and the contributors who made myHome magazine the best selling home and design magazine in the country today. myHome also showed their undying gratitude to its readers and supporters by raffling out selected decorative items and appliances from the room vignette that the myHome team designed exclusively for that night.

It was indeed a night of celebration as myHome continues to share helpful design tips and tricks in creating and maintaining homes in the years to come.
