Why Not Forum w/ Ogie Alcasid, Alex Lacson, Noel Cabangon, Rico Hizon, Reese Fernandez and Bill Luz

The WhyNot?Forum was inspired by TEDTalks, wherein leading thinkers and doers around the world share their thoughts, ideas, dreams, and experiences, which are then posted on the web for all the world to see.

We envision the WhyNot? Forum as an advocate of inspiring filipino ingenuity; It is a smorgasboard of great, brave ideas, an open-source innovation soup that will hopefully inspire other Filipinos to connect adjunct thoughts, take impactful action, and weave together new breakthrough ideas — redefining and challenging the inertia of the status quo;

All in the spirit of positive change for the Philippines.

For the three years now, JCI Manila (Manila Jaycees) has been staging the Entrep Summit – a gathering of prominent entrepreneurs from different fields who share their experience and life lessons in the hopes of encouraging or inspiring individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.  This year, the Entrep Summit will feature trailblazing entrepreneurs who have been successful in tech and digital media related endeavors.  This project encapsulates one JCI-Manila tenet that “economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise” and cement JCI Manila as a leadership organization actively participating in the business concerns of young leaders and entrepreneurs. Being the lifeblood of the Philippine economy, the SMEs should consciously adapt and grow with market changes and take steps to attaining their business goals – thus coining the term “Entrep Summit“.

Proceeds from the Entrep Summit 2010 will go to the various JCI Manila community development activities under the “Dare to C.A.R.E” umbrella program for the Smokey Mountain Community which offers various community services to the area such as scholarship, sports program for the youth, livelihood, mentorship, and education to name a few.

Freelance Writing Workshop with Writer’s Block Philippines

Jumpstart-Freelance-Writing-Workshop-career-class-classes

Manila, 3 August, 2010Three freelance writers dreamt of putting together a group where other writers could be inspired and armed with the proper skills to be more effective communicators.

It may have started out as a wish. But it was also the start of Writer’s Block Philippines, a group founded by Ana Santos, Nikka Sarthou and Nina Terol-Zialcita.

The trio collectively have two decades of experience in freelance writing as a career. Together, their works on lifestyle, travel, arts & culture, changemaking, advocacy, sex & relationships, and women’s issues have been extensively published both locally and internationally.

As freelance writers, they know how much effort it takes to establish and manage their own bylines and how hard it is to make writing a lucrative enterprise.

“Writer’s Block Philippines is the kind of support system that we wished we had when we were starting our own freelance writing careers,” says Santos, a sex & relationship columnist and sexual health advocate. Santos, who also writes about armed conflict in Mindanao, has had her work published in international publications like IRIN News, the humanitarian news agency of the United Nations.

“There’s a misconception that freelance writing does not entail serious work, but it’s actually a business in itself,” Sarthou says. “Aside from practicing the craft, you have to disciplined enough to manage your projects and meet all your deadlines. Through our workshops, we’ll share  practical tips and insights on how to  go about with having a freelance writing career.” Sarthou focuses more on lifestyle writing. She also manages corporate accounts, which give her the flexibility to pursue her other passions such as traveling.

Writer’s Block Philippines conducts writing workshops that cover a wide range of topics to get writers started on their freelance writing career.

The warm reception of their first workshop inspired Santos, Sarthou and Terol-Zialcita to do another run of “How to Jumpstart Your Freelance Writing Career 2.0” on August 22  and 29, 2010 at Powerbooks, Greenbelt 4,  Makati. The two-day workshop will focus on writing techniques and practical insider information on how to get started with freelancing and is supported by Powerbooks and Travelife magazine.

“We were overwhelmed and also very happy about the response we got to the first workshop which was sold out,” says Terol-Zialcita, who is also a poetess and political communicator. “This session will be beefed up with more hands-on coaching on writing and a section on ethics. We included an ethics portion because we believe in maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity in writing.”

While the most common avenues for freelance writing may be magazines and newspapers, “How to Jumpstart Your Freelance Writing Career 2.0” will discuss the variety of non-traditional media and international publications that can be tapped and the nuances of writing for each specific media.

“How to Jumpstart Your Freelance Writing Career 2.0” will be held on August 22 and 29, 2010. Log on to writersblock.ph@gmail.com or message 0927.850.8280 for more information. Avail of a special Early Bird rate of P3,500 for the two-day workshop by making a reservation on or before August 6, 2010.

For media inquiries, please contact:
Ana Santos:

Writer’s Block Philippines believes that writing is both art and craft, both creative and methodical, a form of expression and a discipline. Writing itself is only one aspect of “writing”; a culmination of other processes that make it easier for you to write your piece. Through its workshops, Writer’s Block will bring all these different processes together and teach you how to be an effective writer.

Win P100,000 by being a Changemaker

The British Council in the Philippines and Starbucks Philippines is currently running a competition called “I am a Changemaker” which is a business plan competition for the best social enterprise idea.  We are giving away Php 100,000 each for winning proposals from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR.  The Php 100,000 is to be used as seed money for them to implement their ideas.  Our partner in this competition Starbucks Philippines will also give out an additional Php100,000 for the proposal that best exemplifies their Shared Planet Criteria.

The competition is targeted towards young people (16-28 years old) to get them more involved in their respective communities.  Aside from the cash prize we are also providing free social enterprise development training workshops courtesy of our partners Ateneo de Manila University and Social Enterprise Development Partnership Inc (SEDPI).  The finalists from around the country have already been selected and will be having their training session from the 26-28 of July at the Ateneo.

There will be a finals competition on 30 July at the Leong Hall of the Ateneo de Manila University where the competing finalists will give a short presentation of their proposal in front of an esteemed panel of judges.  The final judging will take the whole day to view all the presentations but the awarding ceremonies will be from 530PM-730PM. Father Nebres from the Ateneo and British Ambassador Lillie will be present give the awards.

The competition is a collaboration between the British Council in the Philippines and Starbucks Philippines. This is a culmination of a year’s search for social enterprise ideas from our Philippine youth and judging for the finals will be on Friday, July 30 at the Ateneo Leong Hall in the Ateneo Loyola Campus.

The finals are open to the public so feel free to invite anyone interested in social enterprise or at least the ideas of our youth in solving real problems in their community.

I’ll be hosting a special screening of “The Last Airbender” tomorrow! Special thanks to Jollibee for this cool movie event. A quick shout-out to my friends from the Jollibee Marketing team led by the Brand Manager for Jollibee Kids Meals, Ms. Inna Gimenez and the PR Manager, Ms. Arline Adeva. Thank you very much for making another much-anticipated movie screening possible.

You know what else is making The Last Airbender movie more exciting? Jollibee has been giving kids and kids-at-heart like you and me more reasons to celebrate The Last Airbender’s big-screen debut. With every Jollibee Kids Meal, you can avail of toy collectibles from the live-action movie adaptation by director M. Night Shyamalan! For a meal that’s affordably priced from P71 to P97, you can already choose among four dynamic action figures who are all part of the legend of Aang.

On the other hand, Sokka Side Flip showcases the youthful warrior’s powerful flip tactics despite having no bending control.  Also check out the Katara Water Blaster that shows off the Waterbender Katara’s great command over water. Lastly, there’s the Zuko Fire Spinner, which exhibits the ring of power of the banished Firebender prince.

Miles for Smiles: Will you Run for a Child to Smile?

Run-For-A-Smile

Hey guys! So theres this Miles for Smiles runners event where you can help support children who desperately need your help!

Well first of all, you can run individually for just P450 and the proceeds go to charities.

On the other hand, if you put together a team of 10, and each invest P1,500 to run…. you’ll actually be paying for one operation for a child with Cleft! Which would in turn definitely bring out a better smile from that child!

Yes, you automatically thought it’s a bit pricey…. but honestly, you can’t put a price tag on a kid’s smile.

Long story, I can’t run because of my scoliosis, but my sister is! And she already has 9 people in her team including Hannah of FlairCandy.com and other random mixes of people. Can you be that one more person to fill this team and help one more child smile? Please contact me ASAP if you can so I can forward your info to my sister.

The Miles for Smiles Run will be on August 22, 5am at the Fort Bonifacio High Street. We need to register ASAP so please let me know if you can run!

Ready, Set, Travel: Cebu Pacific’s Backpacker Challenge Adventure Contest

philippines

Ready, set, travel: Cebu Pacific’s backpacker adventure contest

With just P12,000, a backpack and a chunk of resourcefulness, just how far can a traveler go in the Philippines? To answer the question, Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s largest airline, will pit local travel experts against each other in a five-day, four-city journey across the Philippines. Dubbed the Cebu Pacific Backpacker Challenge, the competition also aims to show that a fun exploration of the beautiful Philippine islands can be done without going over one’s allotted budget.

The contest will test the participants’ sense of adventure as they visit various pre-selected locales—Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Iloilo. Their journey will begin and end in Manila for the awarding of the winning team.

There will be five teams of two travel experts each. They will form Team Sanuk, Team ROX, Team Columbia, Team High Sierra and Team Eagle Creek, named after participating Primer Group brands synonymous with fun, adventure and travel. These travel experts will go from place to place enjoying as many activities and having as many experiences as their budgets will allow. They can savor local cuisine, visit tourist attractions, try local sports and enjoy whatever else the locale offers.

Each team’s budget also covers accommodation, transportation and meal expenses, which means that making such arrangements with family or friends in the chosen areas is not allowed.

To document their experiences during the trip, the contestants will also use Canon DSLR and Powershot and Ixus cameras with which they will shoot video diaries. They will also be required to report their actual expenses.

At the end of the challenge, the team with the most activities while spending the least will be declared winner. As their prize, each member of the winning team will receive two round-trip CEB tickets to Kota Kinabalu (exclusive of Philippine Travel Tax), and 3N/4D hotel accommodations and transfers in Kota Kinabalu courtesy of the Sabah Tourism Board.

Canon Philippines will also give away photography books and four (4) A490 Canon cameras to the two winning teams with the best DSLR and Point and Shoot photos, covering the theme, “You only live one life. Seize it with Canon.”

“This competition is all about showing Pinoy travelers that, yes, a little amount of money, creativity and planning can go a long way,” shares Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution. “By making the right travel choices, one can enjoy rich experiences and make the most out of any trip, especially here in the Philippines.”

Cebu Pacific has the most extensive network in the Philippines as it flies to 33 domestic destinations in 51 domestic routes. For more information, call (02) 7020-888 or (032) 230-8888 or visit www.cebupacificair.com .

Teaching Kids from Smokey Mountain about Blogging

I just got an invite for an opportunity to change lives in a positive way. Tomorrow, Saturday June 19, I’ll be speaking to 25 kids from Smokey Mountain about the powers of blogging. I’ll be telling them about the cool things I’ve been able to do and the achievements my fellow bloggers have accomplished because of a simple blog.

We’re hoping to inspire them to also put their thoughts into words and maybe, just maybe, someone will be able to find their amazing personalities and may be able to help them reach their dreams and goals.

I’m a firm believer that ONE PERSON can make a difference and I’m hoping that positive things come out of this.

Below was the letter I was sent just yesterday. My schedule was full, but I had to clear it up a bit for this really amazing event!

I’ll post updates and pictures after the event! I’m really excited and nervous about this one! Hope it goes well!

BUHAY KO SA SMOKEY MOUTAIN: Invite from Manila Jaycess

Hi Vince!

Thanks for your support! As we briefly spoke on the phone, VJ and I are doing a project with the Manila Jaycess. Our project, entitled BUHAY KO SA SMOKEY MOUNTAIN aims to teach kids how to use blogging to change their lives. It is a weekly session, starting this Saturday.

For this weeks session, what we hope your talk will achieve is to introduce the world of blogging to the kids. At the end of the talk, we hope that we will create an excitement in the kids that they want to learn. It will be more of an inspirational talk, not a technical talk about blogs. Maybe you can show them your blog (wheninmanila.com) and other blogs. The stories behind the blog is as important as the blog itself. It would be great if you can bring other bloggers or other members of your team =)

The session will start 2 PM but your talk will start 230 PM and end 4 PM. I’ll forward you the map going to the center. This is in partnership with Young Focus Foundation. The center will have 25 computers all with internet access. We can provide you with a computer and an LCD projector if you need to show them any visual presentation like blogs or other stuff.

The event will be documented by Range Finder Philippines.

I have CC’d VJ so if you have any questions, please let us know.

I’m sure the kids will be really excited to have a DJ there =)

Thanks again!

A Short Bio of the Kids:

– High school to college students
– 25 participants
– All computer and internet literate

JUST WON AN iPHONE from Globe… but I left their event early so I forfeited it… FML

OK OK OK, sooooooo, apparently I won an iPhone at an event today!!! But…. I left the event early… to go to another event…. so I pretty much forfeited the iPhone…. NOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I just came back from crying in the shower and though it may take some time to fully recover from this (if that’s even possible), I’m going to try and sum up all my composure to tell you this story.

First of all I want to thank the cool people at Globe, especially my buddy and fellow video blogger: Coy of ThisisCoy.net for always inviting myself and Hannah (FlairCandy.com) to the cool events from Globe.

Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-6 Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-3

Tonights Globe event was indeed cool as always. They were launching their “Globe Flagship Store” which supposedly aims to provide top notch customer service and allow for hands on interaction with the phones, gadgets and gizmos that they have at the Globe stores.

Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-3 Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-7

This big event was held at the Ayala Museum to show off their Globe Flagship Store at Greenbelt 4.

Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-12 Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-17

What I thought was really cool about it was how they had legendary street guide Carlos Celdran there to walk us to the actual Globe store. For those of you who don’t know Carlos Celdran, he’s a guy who revolutionized the way we do walking tours and the way we look at the Philippines, one step at a time. He leads walking tours all around the metro called “Walk This Way” where he takes groups of tourists and locals around Metro Manila while humorously and articulately conveying the cool facts, history and info about certain places you pass by. Find out more about Carlos Celdran on his blog: CeldranTours.blogspot.com or follow him on Twitter at @carlosceldran.

Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-15 Globe-Flagship-Store-Launch-Win-iPhone-Samsung-Galaxy-Android-18

Anyway, back to my story…

As I was saying, Carlos Celdran was there to walk us from the Ayala Museum, up the escalator to the new Globe Flagship Store. It was literally like 2 minutes away, but was still fun to finally meet Carlos and to have him say “Walk This Way” as he led us to the store.

So after doing that, I immediately left the Globe event even though they said they were giving away some phones at the end. See the reason I left was coz my other good friends Azrael, of Azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com and Jonel of LetsGoSago.net, reminded me of another event at one of the best steak places in Manila. My tummy was grumbling so I decided that it would be a good idea to leave.

I told Hannah that I was leaving, but she decided to stay as her “ESP” was kicking in, telling her she was going to win something. (ESP… yeah right!)

According to Hannah, her “ESP” actually told her that I was going to win something, but she didn’t think much of it and let me go my merry way.

Now comes the part where my life turns into SUCK!

I get caught in some CRAZY traffic along Makati Ave. I literally have to go like two blocks away but instead, this takes me like 45 minutes to do so. While I’m hungry, tired, in a rush and late for my next event (I HATE being late), I get this text message….

Text Messages 002

Followed by this one….

Text Messages 004

Then this one…

Text Messages 003

That’s about the time I freak out in the car…

Text Messages 005

I screamed, non-stop, for the next 26 minutes and 37 seconds that I had to drive in that god-forsaken hell hole of a traffic jam that’s called Makati Avenue to get two blocks down!

Finally I get there to my next event. I see the two other guys who won prizes but left early sitting at the end of the table, I gladly join them to share my new found grief with them, besides, misery loves company. I sit next to Azrael and Jonel and show them the text I received…

We then do nothing for the rest of the night other than remind each other about the stupidity that had taken place.

Jonel: “So… it’s ok, I’m sure this steak is going to be worth it…”

Azrael: “Yeah… we’ll call yours the Samsung Galaxy Steak! It probably tastes better than Vince’s iSteak!”

Vince: “Well, look on the bright side… at least my old phone is about to break down and I really need a new phone…. waaaaittt…. DAMNIT!”

Jonel: “Azrael, does your Android Steak have Google?”

Vince: “It’s all good guys, see if I was dying in the dessert, I couldn’t eat that iPhone to save my life! But this steak would nourish me!”

Azrael: “Yeah, but your iPhone would have GPS…”

Jonel: “And you could call for help…”

Vince: “I hate you all….”

We then take our own moments of silence and cry for a bit. We then named our little club as the “No Phones Club” which is, today, an exclusive club only for idiots that leave events before the raffles at the end.

picard-facepalm

So at the end of the night, I swing back by Greenbelt 4 to pick up Hannah. She gets in the car and starts talking about how her “ESP” told her I was going to win but she didn’t listen to it and blah blah blah about this ESP crap.

Vince: “That ESPN stuff doesn’t work!”

Hannah: “It’s ESP… and yes it does. It’s just like intuition or your sixth sense”

Vince: “More like sixth bullshit!”

Hannah: “Really, it does work.”

Vince: “Well ask your ESPN what number between 1 – 15 I’m thinking of right now!”

Hannah: “13”

Vince: ” … “

Hannah: “Did I get it right?”

Vince: “…. Lucky guess!”

After that I decided to just shut up and drive.

So what important lesson did we learn from all this? Well I’ll tell you later… I have this other event I need to go to now….

Vince-is-a-Retarded-Idiot

*Anyway I’ll tell you more about the really good, like phone worth good, steak place we went to on WhenInManila.com soon. —- *** UPDATED!!! Just posted the steak that’s better than an iPhone…. My iSteak here.

Cubao X – Bastards of Misrepresentation fundraiser: Bastards vs Team Manila

Pablo Gallery in Cubao is host to a one night only  urban culture fest this Saturday May 29 featuring a Live art and  exhibit by We will Doodle and graphic design studio Team Manila, as well as the launch of the Bastard Series merchandise done in collaboration with Team Manila as one of an ongoing series of fundraising activity for Bastard of Misrepresentation: Doing Time on Filipino Time, a group show of Filipino contemporary art participated in by  Poklong Anading, Argie Bandoy, Bea Camacho, Lena Cobangbang, Maria Cruz, Gaston Damag, David Griggs, Robert Langenegger, Romeo Lee, Pow Martinez,  Jayson Oliveria, Jucar Raquepo, Gerardo Tan and MM Yu  at Freies Museum in Berlin in early October. Curated  by Manuel Ocampo, this exhibit will offer Berlin viewers a glimpse of the current practices in Philippine contemporary art, showcasing works by the country’s  eminently active artists critically recognized for their discursive engagement with their chosen media and format,  such as painting, installation, photography, video and sound art.

This exhibit is also hoped to bring about a potentially immersive presence for Philippine contemporary art in the international art scene, most especially in the vibrant art scene of Berlin. This will also prove to be a momentous opportunity for the participating artists in widening their cross-cultural engagement with this exhibit.

The launch is highlighted by a live silkscreen printing session with the artists and Team Manila as Lockedown Entertainment provides the groove for the night.

The Bastard series merchandise to be sold off for the night comprise of unique silk screen prints signed by the artists, shirts, tote bags and pins featuring one of their works.

Pablo Gallery is at Shop7  Cubao Expo, Araneta Center, Cubao QC.

Philippine Elections and YOUR Turn to Vote on May 10

Dough forget to vote!

It’s election time in the Philippines and one of two things will happen to the voters of this nation: One is that many will forget to vote, and Two, many will vote multiple times… Well that’s just the way the country works…

Krispy-Kreme-Fort-Bonifacio-High-Street-15 Krispy-Kreme-Fort-Bonifacio-High-Street-12

But either way, it’s good to know that there are people out there who do their part in reminding forgetful, non-news-watching, non-tv-viewing, non-radio-listening, non-internet-checking people to go out and vote.

Krispy-Kreme-Fort-Bonifacio-High-Street-9

At Krispy Kreme, they made some new, limited edition doughnuts that will surely remind you to go out and vote. Even better is that they’ll reward you with an “Orange You Glad” (orange juice type shake) drink if you come into selected Krispy Kreme branches and show your voting finger stamp. Of course, you can probably just stamp your finger with a regular stamp, but that’d be really sleezy and the doughnut gods will frown upon you.

Also, if you want to practice your voting skills, you can come into a Krispy Kreme outlet where you will, for a limited time, place your order with a ballot-like form where you have to shade in your doughnut orders. It’s practice for people who have never shaded ballots before. Believe me, it’s much more complicated than you think… just ask the citizens of Florida!

Anyway, thanks to Krispy Kreme, here are some tips on preparing yourselves for the upcoming elections:

1. Turnout will be HUGE! So come before 7am, unless you want to be in line all day.

2. Keep your cool! Stock up on H2O, you don’t want to add to the heat of the election fever, right?

3. Did you know you’re only given one ballot? So make a list or better yet, use a Krispy Kreme vote 2010 mock ballot as your guide. (available at participating outlets)

4. Bring a friend or two! Make the elections a fun democracy date.

After you vote:

5.  On May 10, add this page where you can get a coupon on Facebook – http://Facebook.com/hotlightgirlchloe then go to your nearest Krispy Kreme branch, present your coupon, flip your finger (not the bad one) marked with indelible ink and enjoy a free Krispy Kreme Orange You Glad Chiller.

So yeah, When In Manila (had to say that) on May 10, don’t forget to cast your vote for the people who will best govern the Philippines to make it a better place to live in. Then, do come to Krispy Kreme where you can get rewarded for your right to vote!

Vince at iBlog6 Summit – From the Eyes (and Links) of Other Bloggers

The iBlog 6 Summit was a BLAST!

I had way too much fun talking in front of a whole auditorium of new and veteran bloggers. I was asked to speak about Video Blogging 101. So pretty much the basics of Video Blogging. I of course, added a little twist to this and titled my talk: “Are you Sexy Enough to be a Video Blogger?”

The video will be out soon and I’ll post links to that. You can see some notes from that talk, that were featured in the iBlog6 “Digit@l Magazine” here – “Are you Sexy Enough for Video Blogging?”

Anyway, I just wanted to share some links, insights and pictures from some bloggers I found who were there to see my talk. Hopefully they liked it and hopefully they learned something cool from it. If anything, I’m hopeful people do know that they ARE sexy enough to be a video blogger!

VIDEO BLOGGING

I’ve been really planning to make my own channel in YouTube. Although I have one, it only contains my college video projects. It was until yesterday that I realized how video blogging is important to a blogger like me.

The fun video blogging lessons were presented by Vince G. (I’m sorry I forgot the last name). He’s a DJ at Mellow 94.7 (yeah! I listen to that radio station). According to DJ Vince (http://wheninmanila.com) video blogging doubles the power of your blog. I think he made his point. Video can be present in your blog as well as other platforms like YouTube, Vimeo and Veoh. Actually, if you put your videos to these three platforms it doesn’t just double your blogging power but it’s four times better than just publishing an article in your WordPress or Blogger site.

I like it when he said: “It’s not about who you know, it’s about who knows you.” Now that’s one rocking statement! It can somehow be associated to being famous. He showed us some clips on YouTube about famous video bloggers/personalities. He showed us “David After Dentist”, which I couldn’t believe that I never heard or watched before. It was really funny!

Because of that, I got more inspired to make my YouTube channel active. I also have a channel in Vimeo (search for Sai Verano) but I haven’t uploaded any video yet. It’s a channel for business tips and principles.

Ishmael Fischer Ahab of http://theparadoxicleyline.blogspot.com had a quick comment about my presentation:

Vince Golangco’s presentation on video blogging opened up some ideas in my mind. If I will pursue video blogging in the future, his tips and tricks will be definitely useful.

Got some highlights from Rommel Sherwin D. Copuyoc of http://inghinyero.com

09:37 AM – Video Blogging by Vince Golangco

Highlights:
Personal branding is very important.
Video blogging can earn you money.
70% of internet growth will be coming from videos.
Notes
I am expecting a lot of people to come in a few hours. Morning sessions of iBlog6 usually doesn’t fill up Malcolm. Many bloggers (prominent ones) will probably arrive this afternoon. And this hall will be jamapacked.

Vince Golangco is very entertaining. I like it that we are learning something while he makes really good jokes! Its an entertaining presentation. He shows videos and funny clips and still makes a point.

Oh and got cool comments from that blog post at inghinyero.com too
